The MarcDavid LGBTQ Scholarship provides academic financial support for an undergraduate Temple student active in the LGBTQ community. Preference shall be given to students with financial need, but active leadership and advocacy for LGBTQ causes is paramount. | WEBSITE

The Lax Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 by the late entrepreneur and inventor Jonathan R. Lax for the purpose of encouraging gay men to obtain additional education; aspiring to positions in which they contribute to society; being out about their sexual orientation; and acting as role models for other gay men with similar potential. | WEBSITE

Fund for Education Abroad Rainbow Scholarship

Gamma Mu Scholarships for Gay Men

The Gamma Mu Scholarships Program provides support to gay men who want to further their education at a college, university, or vocational or professional training program. The program supports a wide range of educational options, including vocational and technical training, associate, bachelors and graduate degrees. | WEBSITE

The League Foundation Scholarships

Applications are usually accepted from January through April.  Decisions are usually made in July. The program is open to self-identified Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender graduating high school seniors meeting the prescribed criteria. | WEBSITE

The William A. Nist Scholarship

The William A. Nist Scholarship is for high school seniors or current college students from Western Pennsylvania who are making a positive impact on their community. Western PA is defined as Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Indiana, Fayette, Westmoreland and Washington Counties. | WEBSITE

American Atheists Gay/Lesbian College Scholarship

Funds scholarships for students who are atheists, awarded primarily based on activism. | WEBSITE

Asian & Pacific Islander Queer Women & Transgender Community Scholarship

Funds two $400 scholarships for Asian Pacific Islander lesbian, bisexual, or queer women or transgender individuals pursuing technical/professional training or higher education. | WEBSITE

Association of Latino Men in Action Scholarship

Gives two $1,000 scholarships to qualifying men who identify as gay, bisexual, queer, or transgender. Recipients must also be Illinois residents and of Latino/Hispanic origin or heritage. | WEBSITE

Audre Lorde Scholarship Fund

The Audre Lorde Scholarship Awards are designed to recognize out* black lesbians making significant contributions to their communities. ZAMI NOBLA wants to support and encourage their continuing education by providing scholarships to those women enrolled in accredited technical, undergraduate and graduate programs. Point Foundation

First established in 2001, Point Foundation is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization to LGBTQ high school, college and university students. Through mentorship, leadership development and community service, Point Foundation seeks to empower promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full potential despite the obstacles often put before them. Point Scholarships are awarded on a "last provider" basis.
