Safe Zone I Training Staff/Faculty
To foster an affirming campus environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex or asexual identified students, faculty and staff. LGBTQIA allies provide valuable support and information about sexuality resources, and help to offer welcoming, safe spaces within our campus community.
After successful completion of the Safe Zone 1 and Safe Zone 2 training, participants will be identified as an advovcate and provided with a plaque to post in their work space! Please join us to increase our advocate network at Temple University.
Owl Talk Dialogue
These monthly dialogues are targeted to discuss critical and current issues that impacts cultural and ethnic identities. Each month is genereally themed in relation to observing specific cultures (i.e. Native American History Month, Hispanic and LatinX History Month, Wome's History Month, African Amerian History Month etc.). Follow us on social media to find out each monthly topic. Food will be served and promotional giveaways may be provided.
NMAAHC (African American) Smithsonian Day Trip
Institutional Diversity will be taking students on a learning trip to Washington D.C, This trip has been designed to promote inclusive leadership while bettering the understanding of African American culture, hardships, history, and ancestry for students. Student pay a $10 non- refundable amount to secure seats.

Join us for an engaging conversation about the LGBTQIA+ community and gender and sexuality inclusion on a global and cultural perspective.
NCOW- Community Forum
Join us for an engaging conversation about power, privilege, racism, and intersection identities within the LGBTQIA+ community.
This event showcases many resources, services, and organizations that support gender and sexuality inclusion. Come out to receive promotional items and further information about the LGBTQIA+ community.
NCOW LGBTQIA+ letter writing Advocacy and Social Media
Join us for an empowering event where students and mebers of the LGBTQIA+ community learn mechanisms to write letters to important members of the community about LGBTQIA+ issues.

Fellow students and members of the Temple community share their experiences of coming out in an empowering and impactful manner.
NCOW- Queer Bingo
Come out for an opportunity to win prizes and learn historical facts about the LGBTQIA+ community through playing bingo.
Come out to the annual drag show, This is a fun and vibrant event that provides a space to explore gender fluidity.
