Our Space

IDEAL is located at 2026 N. Broad Street, directly across from the Johnson & Hardwick Residence Halls. Our hours of operation are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, and we are closed on weekends. Students are able to request our space until 9:00pm, Monday-Thursday, and until 6:00pm on Fridays. 

Our office space is open to all members of the Temple community to lounge, study, or socialize during normal business hours. The IDEAL office is equiped with a social justice library, smart technology in all rooms, landscaped outdoor courtyard, and a satellite computer lab. 



This space was named the "Burrow" to relate back to a gathering space in which owls call home. Located at 2026 N Broad- directly across from Johnson and Hardwick residence halls, the Burrow is a multicultural lounge space for members of the Temple University community to visit during normal business hours.

The Burrow allows a safe and brave environment conducive for studying, general lounging or a space for difficult social justice focused conversations. Lastly, the Burrow is equipped with lounge furniture, large screen television, and 4 computer stations for use of any member within the Temple University community.

The IDEAL Lecture Hall is located at 2032 N. Broad street, two doors down from the main office entrace. This building is utilized for workshops, classes and large scale programming hosted by our office. 

Amenities of the Lecture Hall Include:

  • Seating in lecture style for up to 70 individuals 
  • Six tables for lecturing and training purposes
  • Large screen in front of the room
  • Two 70" screen television
  • Access to courtyard for outside activities
  • Gender inclusive restroom
