In utilizing components of the social change model and intergroup dialogue, we recognize the importance of having critical conversations a more understanding and just society. Our office provides various opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to participant in in conversations that will dimistify biases and stereotypes. The following dialogues below are hosted on a monthly basis:
These dialogues are designed for Temple University students to have meaningful conversations about issues pertaining to diversity and social justice.
Owl Talk dialogues are facilitated by Diversity Peers and occur one per month during the academic school year. Each conversation has a different topic to address historical and/or current hot topics.
These dialogues provide faculty, administrators, social service professionals, community leaders and activists an opportunity to participate in intergroup dialogues with professionals from the Mid-Atlantic region on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and class.
