EDUCATING THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY

IDEAL provides cultural education to the Temple community as well as consultation for the external Temple community. All our presentations are presented by trained staff capable of fostering and stimulating dialogue. 

 

STANDARD WORKSHOPS

We offer standard workshops that are already created workshops and/or presentations that a member of our staff can present to classes, departments, colleges, student organizations etc.

To request one of these presentations or workshops, please click the button above and submit your information a minimum of 14 business days prior to your event. Standard workshops and/or presentations are generally 50-120 minutes and can range through the following topic areas:

  • bystander intervention from a social justice lens
  • creating an inclusive work environment
  • implicit/unconscious bias
  • communicating across differences
  • LGBTQIA issues
  • Safe Zone I (3 hours)
  • Safe Zone II (2 hours)
  • political diversity and social justice
  • gentrification of urban cities
  • capitalism's impact on social justice

                                                          

CUSTOM WORKSHOPS

Our office can customize a workshop/presentation centered around principles of: social justice, diversity, inclusion, cultural humility, etc. 

*These requests should be submitted a minimum of 35 calendar days in advance for a member of our office to confirm how we can assist your diversity educational needs.
