We Create Space For You.

At Temple, we don’t see disability as a lack of ability but as a lack of solutions that enable individuals to maximize their ability to succeed. As a university, we provide a welcoming and empowering environment for all students, faculty, staff and campus visitors with disabilities. Through collaboration with campus partners, we provide accommodations to help ensure that people of all abilities have the opportunity to fully participate in classes and activities with ease.

Complaint Resolution

ADA Coordinator - Office of Equal Opportunity Compliance

The Office of Equal Opportunity Compliance serves as a focal point of Temple's institution-wide efforts for equal opportunity, equal access and affirmative action, providing direction through information, assistance and complaint investigation.

DRS Grievance Procedure

Although staff attempt to work collaboratively with students in facilitating disability-related services, it is possible that misunderstanding or disagreements may arise. If you have difficulty with academic adjustments approved by Disability Resources, please contact the person who initially made the recommendations. If a disagreement about the appropriateness of recommendations continues, speak with the DRS Director.

Students who are not able to resolve a problem at DRS should request an appointment with the Senior Associate Dean of Students at 215-204-7188. Read the full grievance procedure.
