LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in commencement

Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership hosts Lavender Graduation, an annual event recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of graduating seniors of the LGBTQIA+ community at Temple University. All are welcome to attend the ceremony and assist in celebrating the contributions of our graduates. This intimate afternoon event provides an opportunity for LGBTQIA and ally students, faculty, staff and alumni to connect one last time before graduation and summer break. During this timeframe, IDEAL will also recognize 2-3 staff/faculty members for their outstanding work and contributions in advancing gender and sexuality inclusion.
