Our Principles
All Temple University students are part of the Office of IDEAL. In addition to our general engagement, we are here to advocate for you. Discover how our Title IX and Equal Opportunity Compliance units can assist.
Programming and Dialogues
Our team offers programming, immersive experiences, and dialogues through a holistic and intersectional approach to advance the learning goals listed below.
Opportunities for students to be engaged with informal programming framed in inclusive practices (i.e., social media posts, film/movie series, campaigns, themed t-shirts, tabling)
Opportunities for students to be engaged with firsthand formalized concepts that promotes cultural awareness (i.e., Global Experiential Learning: South Africa trip, National Coming Out Week, Cultural Unity Week, Lavender Graduation, Rites of Passage Ceremony, OuTU, Black and Brow Joy @ TU).
Opportunities that allow students to have critical conversations about systemic issues, empowerment, and being a change agent (i.e., Owl Talk Dialogues, Queer Lunch Dialogues, Shop Talk, town halls/community forums, dialogue presentations and workshops, affinity groups).
