Gender and Sexuality Inclusion Center

The Office of IDEAL provides a range of services and resources for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community and their allies. The Gender and Sexuality Inclusion Center supports individuals through an intersectional lens, offering education and awareness on gender identity, sexual orientation inclusion, women’s issues, and topics related to masculinity.

Our Team and Hours of Operation

The Gender and Sexuality Inclusion (GSI) Center, located in the main suite of the Office of IDEAL in Tuttleman Learning Center, Suite 100, reports to the Senior Director of Student Engagement. It is staffed by a Graduate Specialist for Gender and Sexuality Inclusion and one to two interns. Ours of operation for support and responses are Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

The team plans and leads the signature programs listed below, along with Queer Lunches, workshops, and critical dialogues on gender, sexuality, and issues related to masculinity. Browse our signature events below.

IDEAL + Residential Partnership

IDEAL’s Gender and Sexuality Inclusion Center partners with University Housing and Residential Life to support the Gender Inclusive Housing Living Learning Community in White Hall, offering programming and additional resources.
