Dialogues Open to Staff & Faculty

Timely Topic Dialogues

These dialogues provide faculty, administrators, and staff with an opportunity to discuss topics that are currently being faced in our society. We designed these dialogues to be a brave space where we can share our opinions, pose questions and listen to others as they gain understanding and learn from the engaged conversations.

Some of the past topics:

  • Beyond Land Acknowledgments
  • Many Shades: Impact of Colorism in Latine communities
  • She/He/They: A discussion on pronoun usage
  • From Bel Air to Banned dialogue.
Queer Lunch Dialogues

Queer lunches are 60-minutes dialogues that occur on Wednesdays and are centered on LGBTQIA+ identities. All dialogues will have lunch provided on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Although these spaces speak solely about historically marginalized gender identities and sexual orientation, we invite allies to join in on the conversation.

Can We Really Talk Dialogues

These dialogues are in collaboration with the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT). Check out their calendar for future occurrences.
